A vibrant Sauvignon-led white wine from Bordeaux’s prestigious Entre-Deux-Mers
Crafted by winemaker Estelle Roumage, Château Lestrille Entre-Deux-Mers 2023 is an elegant and aromatic white Bordeaux, made from a carefully selected blend of Sauvignon Blanc (70%), Sauvignon Gris (19%), Sémillon (6%), and Muscadelle (5%). Grown in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, this white wine delivers freshness, minerality, and finesse in every glass.
This 2023 vintage is certified vegetarian and vegan, produced from vineyards in organic conversion, and bottled with a Diam closure to preserve its bright, expressive character.
Tasting Notes: Bright, citrusy and beautifully balanced
Expect an intensely aromatic bouquet with lime zest, grapefruit, fresh pear, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing, with a vibrant minerality and balanced acidity, leading to a clean, persistent finish. A dry white wine with just 0.9g/l residual sugar, it’s an ideal companion for seafood, goat cheese, or fresh salads.
Winemaking: Gentle handling, stainless steel precision
The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness, followed by a period of skin contact and cold stabilisation. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving the purity of the fruit, with a brief five-month maturation on lees to enhance texture and complexity.

| Winery | The vines are grown in the Bordeaux appellation of AOP ‘Entre-deux-Mers’, which translates literally as ‘between two seas’. However, the seas are, in fact, rivers, the River Garonne and the River Dordogne, which respectively form the area's southwestern and northern boundaries. The area is significantly influenced by the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the two rivers, tempering warm summers. The soils are predominantly clay and limestone, which produce elegant wines. Sustainability is paramount at Château Lestrille. They hold the Haute Valeur Environmental (HVE) certification, which officially recognises winegrowers' environmental performance, including biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategies, managed fertiliser use, and water resource management. The vineyard is also converted to organic status, and the vineyards are cultivated without chemicals. |
