- This beautiful wine has a strong aroma filled with the enticing scents of red and black fruit, subtle hints of spices and a touch of oak. Its rich and structured taste provides a delightful experience, but it requires patience to fully appreciate its boldness and exceptional quality. With great ageing potential, this wine will develop beautifully over time, rewarding those who enjoy its complexities.
Bursting with aromas of peonies, rose petals, blood orange, and wild berries, it's medium to full-bodied, layered, and incisive, its pungently perfumed core of fruit built around lively acids and fine, elegantly chalky tannins. This is well worth seeking out.
This exquisite wine presents an intense bouquet bursting with the enticing aromas of red and black fruit, complemented by subtle notes of spices and a touch of oak. Its rich and structured palate offers a delightful experience, but patience is required to fully appreciate its raciness and exceptional distinction. With excellent ageing potential, this wine promises to evolve beautifully over time, rewarding those who savour its complexities.

Winery | The first traces of vineyards at Aloxe-Corton date back to the 2nd. Century B.C.. Later, Le Corton became Charlemagne's favourite wine. In the 19th century, Guy de Maupassant contributed to its reputation by calling it the “roi des bons vivants” in his famous novel “Bel Ami”. Corton is the only red Grand Cru on the Cote de Beaune and the only Grand Cru on the Cote d’Or to be divided into “sousclimats”. “Le Corton” is the historic vineyard which gave the name to the Corton appellation. |
