| Winery | Vina Errazuriz was founded in 1870 by Don Maximiano Errazuriz, and the estate is now run by his descendant, Eduardo Chadwick. He was a winemaking pioneer in the Aconagua Valley, planting the first French varietals in the region and making the most of the alluvial soils and easy access to water to produce quality wine. The company is currently one of the best producers in Chile. The vineyard for Viñedo Chadwick is located in Puente Alto, the southeast sector of Santiago, at the foot of the Andes Mountains and along the Maipo River's north bank. The 15-hectare property is situated at an altitude of 650 m in the area of Alto Maipo, a place for red Bordeaux varieties of exceptional quality. |
