Masi Tupungato Organic Passo Blanco 2018

“A blend of Pinot Gris (60%) and Torrontés (40%). Given that the Torrontés fruit is from Mendoza, this wine offers less of the exotics one might expect from reading the label. It’s waxy, with green, grassy tones running throughout. Impressive balance across the palate. Not your everyday blend of varietals, but this works for me!”

Masi Tupungato Organic Passo Blanco 2018

Argentina - Mendoza
60% Pinot Grigio, 40% Torrontés
75 cl
12.5% ABV

Roses, orange blossom and broom on the nose as well as fruity hints of grapefruit, orange and peach. Fresh, full-bodied and well-balanced on the palate; long lasting in the mouth with a touch of lemon on the finish.

An explosion of fresh tastes and aromas, intense and elegant. This is an innovative wine made in an unconventional style exclusively from organic grapes produced on the Masi Tupungato La Arboleda estate at Mendoza in Argentina. Draws its aromatic exuberance from the local Torrontés grape variety, while lightly dried Pinot Grigio confers the finesse and style of a top quality white wine from the Venetian regions. The South American wine guide, Descorchados 2014, awards it 90 points.

Grape varieties: Pinot Grigio, Torrontés.
