- A crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc with delicate aromas of exotic fruit, citrus notes and a hint of white floral blossom. Lovely and textured on the palate with a mouthwatering finish.
The grapes were pressed and the juice underwent cold static settling for 48 hours. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts lasting two to three weeks. The wine was then aged on fine lees for six to nine months to impart texture and complexity. This cuvée was vinified without the influence of oak, allowing the pure fruit flavours to be fully expressed.

Winery | The grapes come from the appellation of Menetou-Salon, situated in the eastern part of the Loire Valley. The terroir is characterised by marl sediments dating from the Jurassic period, known locally as Marne de Saint Doulchard. The northern, cool climate influences the region, resulting in lively wines from grapes with characteristic high acidity levels. Domaine Gerard Millet is certified by Haute Valeur Environmental, and the vineyards are managed sustainably. The vineyard is carefully monitored throughout the season; the soil is tilled to bring out the terroir's distinctive features and ensure the vine's health and vigour while encouraging beneficial biodiversity. Careful canopy management occurs, including leaf thinning, which enables the grapes to reach optimal ripeness and concentrates the flavours in the berries. |
