2021 was one of the classic Atlantic vintages. A cold winter delayed budding, followed by a rainy and cold spring. Flowering was at the beginning of June, which saw stormy weather. The small plots are located on the mountainside at an altitude of 600 to 650 meters, on steep slopes, where cooler nights encourage the natural acidity resulting in a fresh style of wine. The vines are nourished by granitic soils; specifically the local decomposed granitic soil known as brego. Plant cover crops keep the soil healthy and maintain biodiversity. The vines are cultivated with natural preparations to reduce phytosanitary treatments. The vineyard is cultivated as sustainably and ecologically as possible, provided the weather conditions allow. Organic products, such as copper and natural extracts are used in the first instance, but traditional preparations are used if necessary. Vineyard management and harvesting take place manually.
