Morande Adventure El Padre Cabernet Franc 2016

San Bernardo, Maipo Valley. It comes from a specific barracks of our property of San Bernardo, which stands out for being a loamy clay soil, with a presence of one metre of a third profile of alluvial gravels. The climate is Mediterranean, warm, in summer and cooled by the breezes that circulate in the afternoons along the valley. The vineyard has a high density plantation design (6,950 PT/ha), managed in vertical trellis and pruned to a python of a yolk.

Once it has been deincubated, the wine is stored in French oak casks, for a period of 18 months and 1 year in bottle prior to its release. 

Denomination of origin

The grape is harvested manually in small boxes of 10 kgs. Once in the winery the grape is cooled for 48 hours before being selected berry by Berry and being ground for its alcoholic fermentation. Then a cold maceration is made at 5 °c for 5 days before inoculation and alcoholic fermentation. 50% of the grapes are fermented in French oak ponds, open and gently traced through Pisoneo. The remaining half in stainless steel pond, using the same extraction technique. Total maceration exceeds 35 days.
