- 5.6 g/l acidity

Following a four-day cold maceration on the skins, fermentation occurred in a mix of stainless steel, oak, and concrete tanks at 28-2˚7C, with regular closed and open pump-overs. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation occurred in French oak, and the wine was then aged in second and third-French oak barrels for twelve months.
Aromas of dried fruits, tobacco, and smoke give way to the palate's vibrant black fruits and herbaceous notes. The tannins are soft and velvety yet still bring structure and weight, and a gentle acidity lifts the finish
The grapes come from the Finca La Zulema vineyard, where the alluvial soils contain a mix of sandy loam and clay. Proximity to the mountains creates a wide diurnal temperature range. The grapes were harvested by hand.

Winery | The Pulenta Family has been linked to Argentine viticulture for four generations. The children of the winemaker Antonio Pulenta and descendants of Italian immigrants Hugo and Eduardo Pulenta gave birth to Pulenta Estate in 2002, with the vision of translating the legacy of the family and their father´s pioneering spirit into a modern, innovative winery focused on producing limited quantities of great wines. Pulenta Estate sources its grapes from the family's two vineyards. With a sustainability certification, these vineyards are both the focus of the operation and the star of the wines. |
