- Sumptuous and opulent black fruit flavours. Excellent structure to the palate with clean freshness through to a lengthy finish. Dark chocolate and wild herb flavor
The grapes underwent a cold maceration before the alcoholic fermentation to preserve the primary fruit aromas. A wild fermentation took place with native yeasts at low temperatures. The wine was then aged for 16 months in new French barriques, of which 50% were new.
This sumptuous and opulent wine shows rich, black fruit flavours accompanied by fresh raspberries and mineral notes reminiscent of chalk and graphite. It has great structure on the textured palate and balances freshness to an elegant finish.

Winery | Seleccion de Bodega Malbec comes from Alluvia vineyard, located in Gualtallary, Uco Valley, at 1,350 meters above sea level. This head-pruned vineyard is set on the streambed; its soil contains medium-size alluvial rocks covered with calcium carbonate patinas and intermingled with sand and chalk enamel. It is one of the poorest soils in nutrients; its organic matter is almost zero, forcing the roots deep into the soil in search of nutrients, and it has a great drainage capacity. The weather is cool during the days and cold during the nights. The vineyards have always been cultivated using sustainable agricultural practices. |
