Privada Family blend remains an iconic Malbec blend from Argentina, and consistently receives accolades from one vintage to the next. Named Privada, as originally this elegant blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot plots was reserved at the winery for the family’s private cellar. The grapes are sourced from Norton’s oldest vineyards, between 50 and 90 years old. A rich chocolaty aroma leads to deeply spiced flavors of dark plum, kirsch and mocha. Creamy mid palate, with a finish that is filled with notes of cocoa powder and raspberry. Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
100% Oak Barrel aged for 16 months in new French oak. Bottled 12 months before release. Drinkability 10 years.
