Vintage: Coonawarra's 2016 vintage was an early one. An ideal growing season of slightly above average temperatures and dry conditions produced outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon harvested at optimum maturity.
Oak Maturation: Approximately 10 percent of this wine was matured for an average of six weeks in a combination of older French and American oak barrels.
Cellaring Potential: Enjoy now or will cellar well up to five years.
Colour: Deep red with purple hues.
Nose: Attractive notes of blackcurrant, ripe plum and subtle hints of mint, chocolate and vanillin.
Palate: A medium bodied wine, expressing rich dark berry fruit, sweet spice and light oak characters.
Food Matching: A juicy barbecued steak, slow cooked lamb shanks or vegetarian fajitas.
