Guigal St Joseph Vignes de l’Hospice 2018

ETA on stock mid-April.

“Featuring pronounced violet aromas and spice-riddled red berries on the nose, the full-bodied 2018 Saint-Joseph Vignes de l'Hospice is eerily reminiscent of the 2015. It's full-bodied, plush and velvety, yet it retains great detail and complexity, finishing long and elegant.” RP

Saint-Joseph
"Vignes de l'Hospice"
Cultivated on a unique geological formation close to the famous ‘colline
des Bessards’ in Hermitage, this Saint-Joseph has all the elegance of its
appellation combined with the power of its neighbour facing the river.
« The treasures are born in the very heart of the most legendary of the
illustrious plots of the Maison Guigal. These precious bottles are as
coveted as they are rare and have benefited from extreme care at every
stage of the process, from the vine to the cellars. They are the sole
incarnation of the inspiration and inheritance of centuries of viticulture in
an exceptional terroir »

Our comment
This wine originates from a monopoly of the best terroirs
adjoining what were previously the Jean-Louis GRIPPAT and
VALLOUIT estates. This is a unique expression of the most
impressive and exclusive slopes of the Saint-Joseph appellation
