2018 Gevrey-Chambertin “Estournelles St. Jacques”: This is very pinot in style and particularly aromatically with its pretty and perfumed nose of red and dark raspberry that is laced with floral and soft earth hints. I very much like the underlying tension of the sleek, even silky, middle weight flavors that exude evident minerality on the youthfully austere and mildly warm finale.
