- OkUzgozu and Bogazkere complement one another beautifully and the harmony of this blend truly reflects the nature of Eastern Anatolia. Okuzgozu, with its dark-skinned grapes and generous acidity pairs with Bogazkere and its intense tannins, fruit-driven and spicy character. This is a well-balanced wine, with cherry and red fruit flavors in an easy-drinking style.
The two varieties: Okuzgozu, (which is pronounced ‘O-kuz-goez-zu’) and Boagzkere, were vinified separately. Each underwent a cold soak and maceration for two days to extracts aromas and flavour. Fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the purity of fruit. Malolactic conversion took place, resulting in a softer style of wine. The cuvées were blended to
make a harmonious wine.
