History:

Stargazer - brainchild of winemaker Samantha

Connew - pays tribute to Abel Tasman who, as an

explorer and navigator, spent much of his time gazing

towards the heavens. Tasman, a Dutchman under the

employ of the United East India Company was the first

European to sight Tasmania and then the South Island

of New Zealand, nineteen days later on 13 December.

Samantha fell in love with the Island and the mystery

surrounding it, and after only three vintages she has

already gained five-star recognition from James

Halliday, including the 2015 vintage.
