A Premium Conegliano‑Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG

Crafted from the historic Rive di Ogliano cru, the Masottina R.D.O. Levante Extra Dry 2024 is a refined expression of Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Made entirely from 100% Glera grapes grown on over‑60‑year-old, east-facing vines, this vintage captures the true terroir of Valdobbiadene with elegance, structure, and mineral poise. 

Aromatics & Palate

On the nose, expect delicate floral aromas of white blossoms alongside fresh green apple, pear, and hints of citrus (bergamot) and herbs. The palate is lively and well balanced, with a fine mousse and a subtle sweetness (residual sugar around 13 g/L) that complements juicy stone fruit, quince and a saline‑mineral backbone.

Winemaking & Maturation

The grapes are hand-harvested from mature vines in the Rive di Ogliano “Levante” (east‑facing) site, then gently pressed and fermented by gravity. The prise de mousse (secondary fermentation) and ageing on lees last approximately 120 days, followed by a further month of bottle rest to refine the wine.  With an alcohol content of 11.5%, it’s delicately balanced and poised for finesse.
