Vineyard & Terroir

Nestled in the prestigious Bâtard‑Montrachet Grand Cru vineyard — a narrow strip between Puligny‑Montrachet and Chassagne‑Montrachet — the Clos Poirier parcel is unique. Its vines are planted on a north–south orientation (rare in this vineyard), rooted in deep, gravely limestone soils that impart a distinctive minerality and structure.

Winemaking & Ageing

Hand‑harvested Chardonnay grapes are gently pressed and undergo traditional fermentation in French oak barrels, followed by full malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 10–12 months in 100% new French oak (medium-toast, Louis Latour cooperage), which adds fine toasty complexity.
