Producer Note
One of the main protagonists in the renaissance of Southern Italian wines, Feudi di
San Gregorio has carved out a reputation for making truly world-class wines in less
than 30 years. The company began in the mid 1980s with the aim of safeguarding
local traditions and unlocking the potential of key indigenous grapes such as Fiano,
Greco, Falanghina and Aglianico.
Winemaking
Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks for 2-3 weeks, followed by 4
months maturation in stainless steel vats.
Tasting Note
Aromas of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries on the nose follow through onto
the palate, which is full bodied and well balanced with great freshness.
Serving Suggestion
Ideal with grilled meats, roast pigeon or aubergine parmigiana.
