Owned by the Ybert family for over four

centuries. A small scale winery of a total

ten hectares. This wine comes from their

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru land which is just five

hectares in total. The average vine age is forty

years. Their land is situated on the northern

slopes of Saint-Emilion giving the vines good

exposure and drainage conditions.

Winemaking

Traditional fermentation in stainless steel and

cement vats. Followed by ageing in 33% new

barrels for up to two years.

Vintage

A warm vintage, allowing fruits to perfectly

ripen and providing wines with power and

plush flavour. This wine is only just reaching

maturity and will easily age a further ten years.
