Henri Giraud was
established in Aÿ in 1625
and today they continue
their traditions of
innovation and prestige.
Grapes are grown on
the chalky slopes of the
Montagne de Reims where
the House’s long-standing
respect for terroir and
organic viticulture mean
that their vineyards have
zero residue of herbicide
and pesticide.
Reserve wines date back to
1990s from Henri Giraud’s
own version of the solera,
their unique “perpetual
reserve”, are used to
add complexity and
individuality that simply
can't be acheived by other
Domaines.

This favourite cuvée bears the mark of our commitment to make the Champagne “the Great Wine of Champagne” again. 
Settled on the three pillars of these great wines: Small yields, small containers and original grape variety: the Fût de Chêne cuvée has left a lasting impression in Champagne since 1990. 
Custodian of the Champagne know-how and natural modernity, MV also translates our singular and unique way to express a vintage wine that goes well beyond the image restitution of just one year. 
As the backbone of our collection, MV is the result of an unprecedented work on traceability and wine-making process in oak casks that encouraged us to understand the forest terroirs as our own vine terroirs.
