Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 743 2015
Chiquet brothers do not seek to produce a consistent house style but year on year, the brothers seek to reveal the full expression of their terroirs and to make the best wine that each vintage allows. The Cuvée 700 concept is unique in Champagne and is the opposite of a non-vintage wine. Cuvée 743 is based on the 2015 vintage and disgorged in August 2019 without dosage

Cuvée 743 is based on the 2015 vintage – a varied year in Champagne that required meticulous selection. The Chiquet brothers are constantly fine-tuning, and this year saw the wine aged on lees under cork rather than crown cap, and two months further ageing in oak. The result is even more complex than previous releases. Full of orchard fruit and cinnamon, tarte tatin, Chantilly cream, white blossom and savoury depths – this elegant wine has the texture of pure silk.
