Domaine Taupenot-Merme Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru 2019 2019 Charmes-Chambertin: Slightly riper yet still agreeably fresh aromas offer up compote-like aromas of red and dark currant, green tea and the hallmark sauvage whiffs.
The caressing yet powerful flavors also possess good size, weight, and reasonable mid-palate density, all wrapped in a serious, firm, and mildly tangy finale.
