Prunus Dao Tinto 2016

A rich and intense red, reminiscent of the Dão region's beloved Cova da Beira cherries: a fruit so renowned that festivals are held in their honour.

This wine is crafted to capture the elegance and freshness of Cova da Beira. It offers "elegance on a grand scale" according to Gota Wines, with "flavours that captivate and seduce".

The flavour profile is to be truly savoured. Plums, berries, and anise on the nose; black cherry with creamy and chocolatey oak flavours on the palate.

Gota means drop, and in each drop they try to capture authentic Portuguese flavours, traditions, pleasures, and fun.

Cassa Douro Reserva 2017

At the Quinta da Cassa estate, the over-ripe batches of grapes are harvested for Porto wine, while the remaining batches are selected to produce this extremely concentrated wine. A sweet, warm aroma, where blackberry, rock rose and floral notes balance with touches of oak. On the palate, the acidity and ripe, full-bodied tannins make this a true Douro wine with a lasting finish.
