Winemaker Kevin Grant takes a minimalist approach to grapes grown 395m above sea level in a cool maritime climate. The result is reminiscent of old world styles in its restraint and chiselled acidity, with flavours of white flowers, gentle peach and toasty oak.

The wine has an intriguing luminous hue that reflects rather than absorbs light. The svelte nose offers up a fine blend of red cherries, pomegranate, delicate forest floor and a hint of spice and new oak. On the palate the wine is sensual and embracing, with a captivating mid-palate depth, lovely transparency and excellent focus on a suavely tannic finish.
Young elemental Graveyard typically shows ginger bread, blackberry aniseed fruit, plenty of savoury oak and floral/herb garden notes. The opulent gamey French polish characters develop with time bringing a rich palimpsest of aromas and flavours.
The aromas are red to dark fruit, dark cherry and plum, followed by slight choc-mint notes. A perfect colour with deep red and purple hues. A full-bodied style at 14% alcohol is nicely weighted in that the tannins are fine and ripe and the oak perfectly nuanced. Spiced fruit characters on the finish give this wine a long after taste. An excellent marriage of the three regions.
The 18 months of maturation in new French oak has intensified the rich aromas of blackcurrant and cassis, layered with decadent dark chocolate and cherry tobacco. A velvety texture that lingers on the palate with a distinct blackcurrant aftertaste. A ripe tannin structure from the grapes hanging up to 18 days longer in the vineyard, gives this wine the potential to mature for many years to come.
An aromatic Sauvignon Blanc with a combination of tropical, citrus and green aromas. Aromas of gooseberries, guava, lemon zest with hints of asparagus and green fig. A refreshing, crisp acidity finishes off the initial sensation of creaminess on the mid-palate.
A compelling nose of espresso, truffles, dark plums and blackcurrant with layers of aromatic intensity that remains fresh and lively. The palate is multi-layered, with masses of cassis and mixed spice, and a hint of chocolate.
Enticing liquorice and fragrant herb notes on the nose, revealing hints of dark stone fruits and cassis with layers of roasted coffee beans. The key characteristic on the palate is the textural tannins that provide support for the supple yet restrained palate - finishing with freshness, purity and length.
Wisps of cloves, nutmeg and five spice add definition to the layers of dark stone fruits and espresso. The palate has density yet also displays savoury, textural components and fine-grained ripe tannins.
Citrus with lanolin, hay and tropical fruits on the bouquet. Also very subtle toasty, brioche notes. The palate is plush on entry, rich and melded yet shows a fine acidity that provides a perfect balance to the wine. A restrained elegance and lingering aftertaste completes the wine.
A dark centered, black-red and ruby rim. Elegant, black fruit with violets, cloves, smokiness and black pepper on the bouquet. The palate shows sweet ripe fruit, spicy oak, elegance and rich, dry tannins made for the long haul. The palate ends with a lingering, savoury finish.
Voluptuous aromas of ripe dark and red fruit combine with spicy notes on the bouquet. The palate shows an abundance of berry flavours, smooth, silky tannins and a bold finish.
"... decadent, almost ostentatious bouquet of macerated dark cherries, creme de cassis, plum and glycerine...palate is full-bodied with silky smooth, seamless tannins and layers of luscious red fruits. For hedonists, this is the perfect Shiraz!" (NM) Robert Parker
COLOUR: Brilliant appearance, great clarity and the lightest of green hues.
NOSE: Mineral aromatics with background savoury flinty notes. The fruit is in the fresh white pear spectrum with perhaps some citric elements.
PALATE: The palate is vibrant and light. The old vine depth of fruit provides a complexity not seen in most Chardonnay - there is always more to find in the wine without it being overworked or over-blown. This is a beautiful wine

A deep and bright red violet wine with balanced aromas and red fruit and sweet spice notes. It is refreshing and voluptuous in the mouth, with fine and gentle tannins, while it is clean and expressive in the palate, with a strong character, typicity and a deep finish with soft smoked hues as a result of its ageing in oak barrels. It is a great exponent of the variety and the terroir, with good ageing potential.
